Professor Iain White

Iain White is Professor of Environmental Planning at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He is also the Assistant Vice-Chancellor Impact and a New Zealand National Contact Point for Horizon Europe. His work takes a spatio‑temporal perspective, demonstrating how previous and present‑day planning decisions embed, redistribute, or defer risk and spatial justice across places and generations. He is committed to engaging beyond the discipline to politicians, researchers, practitioners and communities to generate real world impact.
